Mission Statement

Provide services for low-income and disadvantaged youth by offering educational resources and scholarships in order to empower and encourage students to participate in civic involvement in their communities.

By providing resources, digital tools, support services and college scholarships, Freedoms Forum's goal is to arm low income and disadvantaged students with the skills to raise their voices and be able to speak truth to power. All too often these young people are first to be called to war, first to have their jobs outsourced, first to lose their health care benefits and last to enjoy the rewards of an affluent American economy. The goal here is to arm them with written and verbal skills and direct their collective energies to claim that part of democracy that they truly deserve.
