Head of state
The Executive Branch
Head of State is designed to engage participants in understanding the awesome responsibilities of governance resident in the office of president of the United States of America. Participants will experience a online simulation in connection with the other branches of government to learn the checks and balances of how our government works. It provides a forum in which each participant is motivated to learn patriotism and appreciate the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
The purpose of Head of is to:

Provide an opportunity for participants to place themselves in the position of the President of the United States and consider the awesome responsibilities inherent in managing the domestic and foreign affairs of an economic, military and geopolitical power.
- Provide an opportunity for participants to use digital democracy video tools to support their policy positions relative to current events within the areas of:
- Provide additional opportunities to learn how to critically think, develop public speaking skills, clarify one’s morals and values, gain leadership skills, participate in service-learning, actively share the democratic ideal and use the U.S Constitution and the Bill of Rights as a moral compass.
